To me, “Sun Goes Down” sounds like California. I wrote this song with some amazing people on a beautiful day in the valley of Los Angeles, it’s a song that says, “if you love me when I’m hot, will you love me when I’m not”. Back in the days when I had a chin, abs and jeans that fit 😂
Don’t believe the hype though guys, for every snazzy photo you see on insta there’s normally something else going on behind the eyes. I really struggle sometimes with the way I look, as im sure lots of us do. I get insecure, anxious, worried about things like weight , body and all that, especially when im promoting something and there’s a camera in my face a lot. I’ve put on weight recently, but working to shed some pounds and get back to where I wanna be - don’t get me wrong im no monster, but that’s just it isn’t it - I feel like one, regardless of what people might think. Its such a personal thing body image- and hard to navigate when you’re on show all the time.
But hey. Anyways. I guess what I’m saying is, if you feel like I do sometimes, don’t let the internet make you feel bad. It’s all a bit of a farce.
